Variety - Pinot Gris

Region - Yarra Valley

A pale but pretty pink blush to the hue of the wine, showing us its touch of skin contact, adding another depth of complexity. Lots of brown skin pear, nectarine, some tropical fruit punch characters, vanilla cream dusted with cinnamon. A neat clatter to acidity keeps things fresh. It feels like a good midway point between richness and raciness, too. Delicious and an ideal summery white.  

Nose -

Ripe pear, apple, and peach notes.

Palate -

Notes of pear, apple, and stone fruit balanced by a creamy mid-palate.

Food match -

Seafood, such as oysters, prawn, and sushi, as well as salads and mild cheeses.
